Mary C. Manning Scholarship

Supporting the Next Generation of Healthcare Professionals

The Mary C. Manning Scholarship honors the legacy of Mary C. Manning, who dedicated 42 years of service to Breathe New Hampshire (formerly the New Hampshire Tuberculosis Association). From 1923 until her passing in 1965, Mary gave her time, talent, and leadership to improving respiratory health throughout New Hampshire.

Established in her memory, this annual scholarship supports New Hampshire students pursuing careers that improve the health and well-being of our communities.

Scholarship Award: $500

Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be a New Hampshire resident
• Be pursuing a degree in public health, nursing, or respiratory therapy
• Be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program

Please submit:

• Completed Mary C. Manning Scholarship application
• College letter of acceptance or current college transcript
• One letter of reference

Application Deadline: September 15, 2026

Applicants will be notified of award decisions by the end of November.
